3. Village Walk Trail located near Golden, Colorado (1mi round trip )  moderately trafficked out and back trail that features a river and is good for all skill levels. 
4. Devil’s Head Lookout Traill located near Larkspur, Colorado (2.5mi round trip)  that features a river and Fire Tower. It  is rated as moderate. 
5. Peaks to Plains Trail located near Golden, Colorado (6mi round trip)  moderately trafficked trail that features a river and is good for all skill levels.
6. Staunton State Park Trails vary in length from 0.7 miles to 4.5 miles each way. 
7. Alderfer Three Sisters Trail located near Evergreen, Colorado ( 6.7mi loop) heavily trafficked trail that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. 
8. Devil’s Backbone Trail located near Loveland, Colorado (5.9mi  loop) this  trail features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels.
9. Fowler Trail located near Eldorado Springs, Colorado (4mi round trip) this is  heavily trafficked trail that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. 
10. Lake Gulch Trail Loop near Franktown, Colorado ( 1.7mi loop) this trail is moderately trafficked, features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels.
11. Mount Falcon West  Castle and Tower Hike near Indian Hills, Colorado  (2.4mi round trip) this trail is heavily  trafficked, features an old Walker Home Ruins and is good for all skill levels.
12. Flatirons Vista Trail near Boulder, Colorado ( 3.5mi loop)  heavily trafficked loop trail that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels.
13. Saint Mary’s Glacier located near Idaho Springs, Colorado ( 1.9mi round trip)  heavily trafficked trail that features a lake and is rated as moderate.
14. Star K Ranch Open Space near Aurora, Colorado (0.8mi loop) this  trail offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels.
